Fruit Family Drama: The Story So Far

Not every Peel & Plot disaster happens in a villa. Fruit Family Drama is our family sitcom strand — the same fruit, no coupling ceremonies, just a household where Dad's confidence is unlimited and his plumbing record is a crime scene. The series is young, but it already has one perfect premiere, one outrageous sequel moment, and a dad the comments section has adopted as their own. Here is the story so far.

Episode 1 — Dad Can Fix It. Mom made one mistake: she suggested calling a plumber. Dad took that personally. One episode later the kitchen is flooded, the pipe is destroyed, and Dad has knocked out the power fixing the sink — prompting his now-legendary self-review: "Apparently I'm an electrician now." It is ten thousand views of pure dad energy: no professional will be called, no manual will be read, and no room in the house is safe from his toolbox.

The Sequel Moment — Banana Asked His Fiancée for Her Social Security Number. Every family has one relative who should never be handed personal information. Banana asked his own fiancée, Strawberry, for her Social Security number "real quick" so he could buy something nice. Before she could answer, Peach texted: "He asked me too." Then Dad walked in — with a wrench. Family justice moves fast in this house, and Dad's wrench has since become the unofficial symbol of Fruit Family Drama: the tool he reaches for whether the problem is a leak, a lie, or a future son-in-law running a scam.

Why this series hits different: the villa series run on romance and betrayal; Fruit Family Drama runs on recognition. Everyone has a dad, uncle or grandpa who would rather flood a kitchen than admit a plumber exists, and everyone has a Banana in the family group chat. The stakes are smaller — a sink, a suspicious request — but the comedy is warmer, which is exactly why fans keep asking for Episode 2.

What comes next is still unwritten, but the ingredients are on the counter: Mom's patience, Dad's toolbox, and Banana anywhere near the family's finances. Our wishlist: a holiday dinner episode and Dad versus a smart TV. What does your family want to see him "fix"?
